The Honkai Star Rail 1.6 update is rumored to be released on December 27, 2023. The HSR 1.6 update will feature three new characters: Ruan Mei, Dr. Ratio, and Xueyi. Leaks also reveal that Lynx will be rewarded as a free character in the new game mode. The update will also add the Pure Fiction game mode, new curios in the Simulated Universe .
